Call for Papers
IF: InterView Forum publications are peer-reviewed journal articles. During the Fall 2004, IF: InterView Forum is accepting submissions for the inaugural volume. Please send submissions to the editor, Peter Benson. Submissions must follow the manuscript guidelines below.

Submission Guidelines
Manuscript submissions of all types, except responses, are authored by the ethnographer and the interviewee or other interlocutors present during the fieldwork creation of the manuscript content. Submission guidelines vary according to the media of piece. All submissions should be sent electronically. Authors are responsible for obtaining permissions for copyrighted or restricted materials. For additional information, contact Peter Benson.

All Submissions Should Include:
- Abstract of a maximum of 250 words.

- A description of the ethnographic, historical or sociological context for the materials. This should be no longer than 1,000 words.

- Up to 5 key words

- Acknowledgements of a maximum of 200 words.

Text-based manuscripts
Word file submissions are accepted; no hard copies necessary. Submissions should aim for a maximum of 10,000 words, including citations. Use double spacing and inch margins on all sides. Follow the AAA Style Sheet. Do not include any footnote or endnotes; all such materials should be incorporated into the body of the text. Submissions should be in English and, where applicable, can include an original transcription. Documents that are suitable for submission are transcriptions of interviews, stories, life histories, forums, taped encounters or other interactions, and other forms of sustained discourse that are derived from original fieldwork, considered in an expanded sense.

Still Image based manuscripts with text
Twenty images in jpeg format of 640 x 480 pixels each, 72 dpi per article. Captions, or text explication or commentary, is required and must be limited to an average of 200 words per image or a total of 4,000 words.

Edited Audio and Video submissions
Compressed format required, .mp3 or 4, .swf, and .mov files. Up to five flash animations are allowed at no more than three minutes each.
